Tim Reader studied singing, accompanying and conducting at the University of Exeter and graduated in 2000.
Based in London, Tim now juggles dual careers, one in website consultancy for charities and arts organisations, and the other as a choral director, singer and accompanist.
In 2014, Tim founded The Epiphoni Consort, a choir for skilled semi-professional singers and has conducted them in performances at Westminster Abbey, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Barbican and St John’s Smith Square, and for the BBC. The choir is signed to Delphian Records and releases its debut CD in 2017.
As a conductor, Tim has deputised for the professional choirs of St John’s Wood church and St Paul’s Knightsbridge, as well as numerous choral societies in the region.
He is a member of the Sunday morning choir, comprising eight professional singers, at St John’s Wood church.
