Tim Reader studied singing, accompanying and conducting at the University of Exeter and graduated in 2000.
Based in London, Tim now juggles dual careers, one in website consultancy for arts organisations and the public sector, and the other as a choral conductor, singer and accompanist.
In 2014, Tim founded The Epiphoni Consort, a choir for skilled semi-professional singers and has conducted them in performances across London and the UK, as well as on BBC4, BBC 2 and BBC Radio 3. The choir is signed to Delphian Records and released its debut CD in 2017 to critical acclaim.
As a conductor, Tim has deputised for the professional choirs of St John’s Wood church and St Paul’s Knightsbridge, as well as numerous choral societies in the region.
He is a member of the Sunday morning choir, comprising eight professional singers, at St John’s Wood church.
